Domburg

This weekend was one of the first really nice weekends, they predicted 15°C, so we, as well as hunderds with us, decided to go to Domburg, to the beach.

 

Kites, shovels and swimming trunks !!! were packed and off we were.

 

Turned out that it was way too cold to were swimming trunks... who would have guessed?

 

But they boys had a great time, as did I, inside the beach club with a nice coffee...

Weekend

 As you can see we had a busy but lazy weekend. On Sunday we had a big party at friends. They had all sorts of entertainment for the kids and even someone that did mak-up, well as you can see, they are ready for the World Championship Soccer... DH was very proud...

Yesterday we spent the day at the beach. The weather was not great, but OK, it was warm, but not very... But we stayed at the beach, even if it was cloudy.

When we decided it was enough, we left the beach, and he moment we arrived at the car, it started raining.

Son #3 had a great time at his grandparents, he really enjoyed spending time with his cousin at the beach. I guess both boys enjoyed themselves.

Today son#3 went to visit my PIL, but as they were at the Olympic Games, he spent the day at my BIL family. They took the two boys to the beach, and as you can see, they liked it.

Beach and cookies

The boys stayed with my parents this week and yesterday they made cookies. They were delicious and they looked good to, dont you think?

This afternoon we went with my MIL to the beach and there were heeps of shells, this is not always rhe case, it hasds to do with the wind and current. But we were lucky, so we looked for some nice ones to use in son #1 s dreamcatcher.

As you can see, the weather was great, and we had a lovely time at the beach, even if it was a bit cold, as the wind came from sea. But the sun made up for a lot.

Since the weather was poor yeaterday, a lot of wind and rain, and the kids were indoors all day, we thought it would be a good idea to take them to the beach. We also took our nephew with us since he stayed with us last night so his parents could have a quite night.
When we drove on the boulevard, I noticed that there were not many people on the beach...
So we unloaded all the boys and walked towards the sea... and were sanded by the wind. Not a real good idea, so we packed them back in the car and had some pancakes for lunch.

Wonderful weather

Today the weather was great! So we decided to visit my PIL who live near the beach.
And even on the beach, we had wonderful weather, with a warm breeze.
The boys enjoyed this unexpected day at the beach. They found these empty crab shells and one crab that was still living and son #1 even a fish that was still alive, so he showed it in his bucket and then through it back into the sea, where it swam away real quickly.

In the meanwhile I am still crocheting on my Lollo bear, but I saw that I don´t have enough stuffing, so I will have to get some, so I can finish him.
