Last day of school

Last day of school: as you can see, they were happy and she should. Their report cards were very good, so they had every reason to be proud of their achievement and they have earned a nice holiday.
I heard that the school gave them all an ice cream so they really celebrated the last day of school. It was Rubens last day in kindergarden... Another milestone achieved!
Tonight, I also got my diploma for my evening course French.
We all can be proud of ourselves.

Annual Schoolparty

Today we had the annual schoolparty where all the kids show a little show and dance and the parents pay for frinks, nice foods and all sorts of games the kids could play.

Son #1 is in the bee class, so they were all little bees... The flower was also present :-)

Son #2 had a balloon dance...

And son#3 did a dance on the tunes of Footloose.

So now we are back home after a nice sunny days (after how many rainy days, this is the first nice day...), we were so lucky, last year we waited 3 hours in the pouring rain...
And the kids have half a chinese factory worth of plastic toys... But it was a nice day.

On thursday all schools started in Belgium, so the boys went back to school. As you can see all the kids were very interested in the start of school and the little play the teachers performed.

Last day of school

Tomorrow is the last day of school, so it is time to finish the gifts for the teachers. Because of my business trip to Spain, a lot of time slipped through my fingers but I managed to get everything ready in time.
This is the label for the frog quilt for juf Hilde, son#1´s teacher. It was my first attempt on printing on fabric and I am impressed.
And this is the Frog quilt I made her since she is teacher in the ´frog´ class.
Next is son #2´ teacher, who teaches the chicken class, hence the chicken. The label is a drawing son #2 made for an international contest. The drawing is on the internet, so I got it overthere and printed in on fabric. Son #2 recognized his drawing immediatly, so he liked it.
I think I made some nice gifts for their teachers because I want to thank them very much for taking very good care of my sons, the both love their teachers and the goodbye tomorrow will be very hard.
