Happy Birthday son #2

 

Happy Birthday! Wishing you a wonderful, happy day.

 

He didnt know what surprise he would get, so I put ribbons all across his bedroom. The pic doesnt do it justice, but the whole room was filled, and he loved it when he woke up.

Turns out this is a water balloon filler...

Weekend - Boys will be boys

 

Son #1 got a rugby ball for his birthday and it had to be tested...

 

Dont know if this is the meaning of the game and of course did it result in tears...

 

Even Bobbie thought it was strange and kept her distance from all that boy force...

happy Birthday son #1 !

 

Son #1 turned 11 today and we had a big surprise for him. Last night DH and I blew up two bags of balloons, way more that in the picture below. We placed a sheet in front of the door and placed all the balloons inside. SH and I had great fun doing it, as he managed the explode two balloons while blowing them up, so we thought our son would wake and understand what was going on, but it didnt???

This morning, I knocked on his door, asking him to wake up, and when he opened the door, the whole room was suddenly filled. And the only reaction we heard from behind the sheet was: "That was really cool."
So I guess our surprise worked. :-)

Domburg

This weekend was one of the first really nice weekends, they predicted 15°C, so we, as well as hunderds with us, decided to go to Domburg, to the beach.

 

Kites, shovels and swimming trunks !!! were packed and off we were.

 

Turned out that it was way too cold to were swimming trunks... who would have guessed?

 

But they boys had a great time, as did I, inside the beach club with a nice coffee...
